Awesome infographic Shannon! Is there a way to embedd it on our blog (and of course credit you for that)? I recently spoke at the European HomeAway Owner Summit in London exactly on the importance of reviews and I gave a presentation to the audience explaining the impact guest reviews have in a vacation rental business.
You are so right! And every property owner should never underestimate the impact of reviews on their future business. We have over 100 positive reviews on HomeAway only (we advertise on a bunch of sites) and they are all 5 stars but maybe a couple, which are 4 stars. The reputation we built over time, the word of mouth and referrals we were able to generate due to our dedication and passion paid countless times. So we are a thriving business growing on the belief that 5 star service and unbeatable communication is key to success.
If you think it adds value to the cause, I would be glad to share the slides and a copy of the presentation with you and your readers here: http://kinguest.com/owner-summit-2013-slides-templates/

Hi Antonio. Thanks! In addition to HomeAway, do you advertise on any websites that are locally owned and operated in the area of your rental(s)? If yes, have you noticed a difference in the quality of the inquiries you receive from the local site?
You are more than welcome to post the infographic on your blog. If you click the link above to the original infographic, you’ll see the embed code at the bottom. I was able to include the code on my reply on LinkedIn, if that’s better.
I would love to speak with you some more privately about having you as a guest blogger. I’ll be in touch probably early next week.
Best, Shannon
