There are 25+ homeowners who have hired me multiple times to photograph their home when décor, room configuration, or home improvement updates occur. Like shoulder season bookings being “gravy” for homeowners, forming a lasting relationship with our homeowners is my “gravy”.
As I have said, the favorite part of my job is meeting our vacation rental homeowners and getting to know them as well as their house. What is special about this house, the history? I am a sentimental gal, and work is more enjoyable when there is a face to a home. Plus, this gives us time to “talk shop” and consult about how to market their unique property.
So, last week I visited Ann in Falmouth for the third time. She recently bought new furniture in her sun room and added a railing to the backdoor entrance. Also, she wanted me to capture her home in the fall because the foliage is fantastic in her back yard.
She asked about the highpoints from our recent Homeowner Forums, so I advised her to work on getting more vacationer entered guest reviews because of their increasingly significant marketing impact.
Our time was hopefully helpful for her, but it was clear who taught who that afternoon.
Ann is an inspirational woman. Without telling her private story, just take my word for it. As I walked to my car, I thought “Wow, that was my lesson for the day.”
Thank you, Ann.
